I recently had to start wearing orthotics and couldn't find any sandals where they worked. Then I discovered Drew sandals on the internet. They have removable insoles and are deep enough for orthotics. I can put my orthotics under the insole. The top of the insole or footbed does show a little with my orthotic under it but I just used a marker to color the edge.
The Sandy was my first Drew sandal and I have since bought 3 other styles. It is very comfortable and was right from the first. It comes in all sorts of sizes for hard to fit feet.
I only gave it 4 stars because the style is a little clunky, but of course that is part of the reason it's so comfortable.
