I bought these shoes in desparation while I was hurting all over. I've done lots of things to relieve my all-over pain, but these shoes are the ONE item I use every day to relieve and energize my feet. I have plantar fasciatis (sp?) and have considerable heel pain even in Dr. Scholl's padded heel shoes. But I have NO heel pain in THESE shoes. I'm actually considering trying to locate another style shoe the same company produces--one for the house, one for days in public. They are great shoes and I highly recommend them!

The footbed is very contoured to a specific foot shape. It's comfortable and massaging if your foot is exactly the right size for it. Otherwise, the knobs poke in the wrong places and it's quite painful/uncomfortable.
Also, the slipper seemed to curve so that my heel was basically hanging off the inside of the slipper. It was only by a little bit, but it was pretty bothersome.
Gave these to a relative and she loved them for the first two weeks, then said her ankles started hurting so she stopped wearing them and was back to normal pretty quickly.
They really looked like they *should* be comfortable though, especially if they're the right fit.
